  • Route from Narita Airport to the lab (Keisei Line route)
Among numerous ways to get to our lab from Narita Airport, we suggest the following way for simplicity, time and price.
    1. Take the "Keisei" Line to "Ueno". The rapid train named "Sky Liner" or "Evening Liner" is recommended to save time. Purchase both a train ticket (at the ticket vender) and express ticket (same or possibly on the platform).
    2. At Ueno station, take a taxi to the main gate ("Seimon" in Japanese) of the University of Tokyo (or "Tokyo Daigaku" in Japanese or "Todai" for short). Alternatively, if the taxi driver knows it, head to "Yayoimon" gate which will save the taxi fare a bit. (In Japanese, say "Todai no Yayoi-mon e itte kudasai" to the driver.)
    3. Our lab is located at Room 140 on the ground floor of Engineering Building #6. A garden space is in front of the building.
  • Route from "Haneda" Airport to the lab ("Keikyu" Line route)
Among numerous ways to get to our lab from "Haneda" Airport, we suggest the following way for time and price only if you do not mind walking 15 minutes with your luggage and have some experiances in Tokyo.
    1. Take the "Keikyu" Line (north bound) to "Mita" by the direct connection to "Asakusa" subway line.
    2. Change to the north-bound "Mita" line and get to "Kasuga" station.
    3. From exit A4 of "Kasuga" subway station, go up a while along "Kikuzaka" sloping road and turn to the right at a very steep slope named "Shinzaka". Follow the the narrow lane until you finally find the university main gate across a busy street.
    4. Our lab is located at Room 140 on the ground floor of Engineering Building #6. A garden space is found in front of the building.
  • Route from Haneda Airport to the lab (another "Keikyu" Line route)
An easier way is as follows:
    1. Take the "Keikyu" Line to "Shinagawa".
    2. Change to the JR "Yamanote" Line (green colored left turn circular line) and get to "Akihabara" station.
    3. At "Akihabara," change to west bound "Chuo" Line and get to the next station named "Ochanomizu".
    4. From "Hijiribashi" exit of "Ochanomizu," get out the station and turn to the left and walk straight on a arch-shaped bridge to the other side where you will find a bus stop for "Todai Konai" (the University of Tokyo). You can take a taxi, instead.
    5. Our lab is located at Room 140 on the ground floor of Engineering Building #6. A garden space is in front of the building.
